The Tennessee Department of Health's Environmental Epidemiology Program responds to questions about the human health impacts of environmental pollution. We investigate sites where people may be at risk of chemical exposure and recommend actions to keep people safe. We are looking for a new team member to perform environmental health risk assessments. The incumbent will eliminate environmental hazards from communities by investigating waste sites, spills, or other environmental public health concerns.
Qualifications
A well-matched candidate will have a master's degree with a minimum of 3-years of work experience as an environmental consultant, state or federal environmental program regulator, environmental risk assessor, toxicologist, or have been involved in similar work.
